YKK makes the best zippers in the world. Period. They are more reliable over a longer period of time, and they withstand the stress of heavy equipment and the abuses of travel. And we only use the self-healing zippers with specially designed zipper coils that easily reconnect if they separate from over-packing.
Nylon is more rugged, water- and tear-resistant than polyester, that’s why it’s used in all of the best outdoor camping, hiking and travel gear. A nylon exterior ensures that Tenba bags are built to withstand serious professional use and the rigors of heavy travel, yet they remain extremely lightweight.
Duraflex clips and fasteners are the choice of the U.S. military and law enforcement, and they are the standard for the best outdoor carry gear for any application. And they maintain reliability at extreme temperatures.

I got the Tenba Mesenger Mini Laptop Bag a few weeks ago and it's incredible the amount stuff this bag holds for a bag this size. It perfectly fits my Nikon D3,3 lenses, flash, accesories and a 13' Macbook. The bag is lite; shoulder pad is very comfortable, and the quick access zipper on top makes it easy to grab the camera or accesories on the go. Great bag! Close

I love this bag. I have been thru plenty. I wanted something different than just black, could hold my laptop, camera, chargers, USB drives, a file folder and MBP 13" retina. The top access is important as I often have to grab my camera when I'm in my car to take a picture while driving by. It holds all that plus a measuring device and external hard drive. I thought that it would be too big-wide but for that in makes up in compactness. I love it, it's the best multipurpose bag I've found. Close

I, like many other photographers have always had a constant search to find the right bag, and I have a cupboard full of bags that have never quite fit the bill. I had been using a small LowePro Nova 180 AW for a few years, I love the bag, but it was never big enough to take my lens choice etc for a day of shooting with room for anything else.
I already own a Tenba backpack which a small family could live inside, and it filled with everything means I need to hire a Sherpa to carry the thing. So when the choice came to getting yet another bag, I looked at Tenba again, and bought the Tenba Messenger Mini version. First of all, don’t be put off by the mini label – it isn’t that small. So far it takes my Nikon D600 plus 18-35mm, 28-105, 50mm, and with a bit of inner movement I can also fit a 105mm Macro lens in the main compartment. There are also little pockets around the bag for filters and assorted other rubbish we also carry, and for a day’s sightseeing etc you have a bag pocket which will take a guide book or magazine or maps up to A4 size.
You can also fit an iPad, a tablet or laptop up to 13 inches inside in the back pocket, so plenty of room in there as well.
The finish is first rate on this bag, and it’s very comfortable to use it, so I’m very happy.
Recommended to all bag collectors everywhere!
