Tenba Roadies II: The Finest Carry-on Compatible Rolling Cases Available
Tenba Difference
YKK Zippers
YKK makes the best zippers in the world. Period. They are more reliable over a longer period of time, and they withstand the stress of heavy equipment and the abuses of travel. And we only use the self-healing zippers with specially designed zipper coils that easily reconnect if they separate from over-packing.
Water-Repellant Nylon
Nylon is more rugged, water- and tear-resistant than polyester, that’s why it’s used in all of the best outdoor camping, hiking and travel gear. A nylon exterior ensures that Tenba bags are built to withstand serious professional use and the rigors of heavy travel, yet they remain extremely lightweight.

More I have been a Thinktank fan for several years but was willing to give the new Tenba a chance. My last Thinktank was the Airstream, which was too small for my upcoming trip to Alaska (taking a Nikon 200-400, 2 D3 bodies, couple more lenses, flash and charger(s). I want to take all my equipment in a single case and also need to meet international carry on size (flying into Vancouver first). I also am taking my MacBook Pro 17". I purchased one of the first Roadie II Universal cases from B&H. Unfortunately one of the wheel axels were off center and it rubbed. I sent a note to Tenba - their customer service sent me a new case immediately!
Tenba clearly researched their competition in designing this new line of roller bags. The only feedback I can provide right now is that my D3's do not quite fit in the recessed area adjacent to where the handles retract into the bag (my setup is exactly as you show on your site w/ the 2 bodies on the side, and what appears to be a 400mm 2.8 down the c

More I love this bag! Tenba really thought of everything with this new design. In the main compartment I can fit a laundry list of equipment - 2 camera bodies, 1 long lens and 3 other prime lenses, along with a hard drive, batter pack, PW's and more. The zippered compartments are great for everything else - battery chargers, memory card reader, extra batteries, etc. I love that it also holds my 15" MacBook Pro. The tripod holder is a bonus and is so sturdy. It was a great purchase for all my needs.
