Backpacks are the outdoor shooter’s mainstay. Shootout backpacks are available in multiple sizes, to accommodate camera/lens/ laptop setups ranging from basic to brutal, plus all the accessories. The Medium size is designed to carry a large camera system and tripod, plus a laptop up to 17 inches. The Medium is identical to the Small and Large backpacks in every way except for size, and it includes an expedition-grade waist belt and removable photo interior. It will fit in the overhead compartment of most full sized domestic U.S. jets.

MoreMy wife recently purchased this for her photography business, but I'm the one that carries it. Overall, this pack is GREAT. Holds a lot, good design and multiple uses make it a phenomenal purchase for any photographer. I have one gripe, and one gripe only. The rod used for pulling while rolling is VERY ornery. Since it's a single rod, if it rocks at all, you can lose control quickly. A double-rod system would be a GREAT change! However, I LOVE the bag and would definitely purchase another when needed.
