It took some finagling, but I was able to fit my T3i, 2 lenses, all my accessories, my iPad and My 13" macbook with room to spare. I was torn between this daypack and the messenger bag (which was very nice also), but I ultimately chose the back pack form factor and it should work great as a personal item on the flight.
